Meet Aryn Ferguson

Aryn was born and raised in Sandy. After graduating from Sandy High School, she attended college at Oregon State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. She lived and worked in Bend and Portland for several years then moved back to Sandy for her kids to grow up in this wonderful community. She and her husband, along with their two kids, enjoy outdoor activities including skiing, mountain biking, rafting, and hiking.

Aryn works for her family’s business, Trimble Rentals, in a variety of roles: property management, land development, construction oversight and accounting. She is also a part owner in a rental property business.

She has served on the board of directors for both community and professional organizations including the National Association of Women in Construction, Sandy Area Chamber of Commerce, Kelso Community Club and the City of Sandy’s Economic Development Advisory Board and has volunteered her time for Meals on Wheels and coaching sports.

Aryn is dedicated to this community and would like to be a part of the City Council to bring a fresh perspective and help Sandy thrive. She feels she can represent a variety of community members as a mother of school aged kids, a spouse, a working parent, and a business owner. Aryn is committed to keeping Sandy a great place to live and believes her diverse experiences will allow her to bring a valuable voice to the council.
